Google+ is literally Google with a plus. The “+” is the social networking piece it adds to all of Google’s other services, including Web search, Gmail, and YouTube – which makes the complete package even more attractive to young people. In this Parents’ Guide, we introduce you to the service and its features and offer a little context on teen safety and privacy in social media. We also tell you about Google+’s new special safeguards for 13-to-17-year-olds. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to email us via admin[at]connectsafely.org.
