In this TikTok video, the News Literacy project explains, “the rise of more convincing fake visuals created with AI technology means finding the source and context of an image is often more important than hunting for visual clues of authenticity. Any viral image that can’t be verified through a reliable source – using a reverse image search, for example – should be approached with skepticism.”
