“Technology continues to evolve,” Vint says. “There are plenty of opportunities for evolving even the internet of today into the internet of tomorrow.”
Vint thinks that evolution can turn the internet into a more positive space. “Remember, gravity is the weakest force in the universe. And yet, when there’s enough mass, it keeps the planets in orbit. And if there’s enough social mass to adopt particular norms and behaviors, that can have a very big influence on the way people behave in the online world.”
