This week marks Safer Internet Day. Tuesday, February 6, was a date recognized internationally for educators and parents to pause and work with their children toward being safer online. This year, ConnectSafely, the U.S. host of Safer Internet Day, premiered a conversation with a member of the National PTA about hot topics in internet safety, including:
- generative AI and what it means for your family
- impact of influencers and celebrities
- when kids feel left out
- talking to kids and teens about difficult topics
